Naming, Shaming, And Other Such Things.

Ugh, I've just had such an annoying experience on Ebay, I just have to mention it.

I thought I'd finally sold little Ttori on when someone made a very reasonable offer for him a few days ago, and I accepted it.
Money has been a little tight lately, since, as I've said before, a lot will be going on this year, so I was naturally very excited at the thought of having something to spend on my birthday.
However, I received no payment of contact from the buyer.
I sent two invoices, and heard nothing, so sent a third today, informing them that unless I hear word by tomorrow, (which is a reasonable weekday, in case they were waiting on a payment of some kind on which to buy him) I would relist him and consider the sale void.

And tonight, I got this response:

"Sorry if there was a misunderstanding, I only wanted to know if another offer was acceptable, I didn't commit to buy,my circumstances have since changed
substantially so I'm not buying dolls etc at the moment,again sorry for the confusion. This is a copy of the email/response I sent earlier,looks as though it didn't get to you. Again I can only apologise for the misunderstanding"



Is this seriously what people are doing now?
Ebay states several times that offers are a commitment, before you can make it!
The mentality is just foolish and rude an inconsiderate.
Naturally, I am very angry about this, so have told the buyer that I will be reporting this incident to Ebay, as it is against their rules, and it also wastes seller's time and of course, the fees and relisting, etc. But man...more than that, I was really hopeful there...how unkind. : /
Anyway, I have decided to just add them to my blacklist, name this person here on my blog, and relist Ttori when the case has been sorted out. I warn you not to deal with Ebay's bairns06 if you can avoid it.

And speaking of names, I think I've finally come up with one for Little Risse Riding Hood, who should be with us tomorrow: Mara. What do you think?
I believe it means Bitter Heart or some such....if I find something better, I'll reconsider, but at the moment, I think Mara kind of suits her....guess we'll see when she arrives, hm? x3


Before I go, just one more thing....
It has been suggested that along with the many tabs I have here on the blog, that I make some kind of FAQ one on dollfies and so on...I wonder if that is a good idea...
While thinking about it, the idea also crossed me that instead of a straight link to DOA on my tabs, I would change it and make a Links page, with the companies, info and other stuff I find worthwhile on there...there's certainly a few sites I can think of!

Anyway, that's something to think on, until next time.
