Story//Background:
Nikolai's story is in fact quite a sad one; a rebellious child, he thought it would be fun to worry his parents by playing hide and seek past bedtime. He ran outside, to the best hiding place he could think of -- the old garden shed.
'No-one will ever find me here!' he thought. Unfortunately, they were right -- refusing to give in, he fell asleep waiting, in the cold, and froze to death overnight.
Now his ghost wanders freely, continuing his ever mischievous behaviour long after death.
Nobody knows exactly how long ago his unfortunate demise took place, but it is clear that his past will forever haunt him, too...
Personality:
Broody and snarky are good words to sum Nikolai up.
It seems that the time he has spent wandering as a ghost has matured him somewhat, but his moods forever fluctuate between extremes of happy, angry and sad, which he doesn't seem to be able to control -- this is put down to his death at a young age.
His behaviour with others can be cruel, as it is clear that he doesn't understand how easy it is to hurt other's feelings, or what it really means.

Nikolai really is a little gem to me.
He was inspired by two different things; firstly, his character is a kind of more deviated, adult version of Frank -- a little ghost boy I made up years ago. Frank was certainly a lot sweeter natured than Niki, was afraid of the dark and had a obsession with things that glow...he was also very lonely and unable to speak, so followed people around, but being a ghost, he frightened everyone away...
As for his looks, he's sort of based on my dream doll, Dani, who was a modded boy of Morbidollz'.
He reminded me a lot of Frank, so I was very broken-hearted when I missed his sale...
I never expected to have a boy as beautiful and ghostly as him, so I've been very lucky.
Niki always sleeps on my pillow, so he doesn't get scared. <3

Story//Background:
Sam is the (slightly) younger brother of Alex, and legacy to a great line of powerful magic users.
Unfortunately, Sam was not born with the best of health, and suffers physical weakness -- he also refuses to ever speak, though no-one is sure if this is part of his illness or not.
This history lead him to an accident in his early teens, which he only survived thanks to his brother's heroic sacrifice. This sacrifice lead him to inherit both brother's magical abilities, and as such, Sam possesses magnificent powers over the elements as well as physical healing, and psychic abilities, allowing him to speak to other's telepathically, rather than using his voice.
Personality:
Sam is a a caring, sweet boy, with a very shy nature.
Although he never speaks, he communicates through telepathic means, and physical gestures.
He loves nothing more than expressing his feelings through loving actions, such as giving hugs, and thoughtful gifts -- he won't stop until you smile!

Annoy, annoy!
Truth be told, I still feel pretty lucky every day for Sam being here with me.
I got him on the DOA marketplace from a very lovely girl in Mexico, however, the post office over there was not kind at all - they didn't mark his progress, and wouldn't help either of us to find the package, no matter how many times both myself and her contacted them.
Eventually, months after giving up, he arrives on my door, packaging and box torn to shreds -- it was a miracle he wasn't damaged, and we both thanked our lucky stars!
He's such a gorgeous, sweet boy, and the whole ordeal definitely strengthened our bond from day one! : )

Heather is the first and only child of Kaden and Ryn.
Personality:
Despite her age, Heather has quite the naughty streak, and will gladly scamper around causing mischief as long as she possibly can, in the aid of making people laugh.
Her strong, cheery personality shines through with everything she does - anyone would find it hard not to love her.

Heather was a very random, surprise buy for me -- mostly because I'm not really a fan of the tiny, cutesy baby characters, and things like that...I'd never even looked long on Fairyland, until I saw the Bunny version of PongPong...the most adorable thing I'd ever seen! Especially with that little rock fist...wish I could have gotten that. xD Anyway, I tried saving, but ended up beng a few days out, and missed her...
After a while, this little baby came up on the Marketplace, and my wonderful friend J'Lostein helped me get her! (Eternally grateful -- thank you, Jamie! <3)
She actually arrived on Valentine's Day, which was a wonderful surprise, and had been a constant joy to have around since - that face always makes me laugh, and she seems to be the most loved by other people, of all my dolls! : )

I suppose Zach was one of the first few dollies I got that I really didn't have any kind of backstory for, and didn't really intend to, either -- I wanted him to be very much a regular, modern,*present* character, if that makes sense.
I always had the idea of making him a little emoish, with that sweet little face Jina has, but to have the gorgeous faceup by Shallowsleep, I'd never have guessed. <3
He's a much loved member of my doll family, with his sensitive little soul, and I think he's actually one of the sexiest of my boys, haha.
