Extra Confessions

...okay, maybe I have a little more to say. :B

I have a little confession to make: I've fallen out of love with one of my dolls. ><
Kaden -- my DOT Camine, and the very first boy I saved up for and bought myself, back in 2007...
I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell him, as he's precious, not only for that, but he and Ryn arrived together, and have been kind of "the main couple" forever - they're kind of the Mum and Dad of my other resins, and have little tiny Heather as their own...it'd be weird to pair her with anyone else now. But he's just so big, clunky, awkward and badly made...I never want to do anything with him, and to be honest, I'm not sure it'd be possible to, even if I did want to -- even his faceup wasn't what I expected from DOD's promo pictures....they're all so pale, (which I like) and his faceup was so dark compared to the pictures....it makes him look feminine, as if he's wearing make-up, which I personally really don't like on my boys....or even much on my girls. xD
Wonder if there's anything I can do about it...? Surely I can't just replace him, and horrible as it sounds, I doubt anyone would want him, at least body-wise...its a bleeding nightmare! ><

Whew! I really needed to get that out -- its bugging me a lot, and I feel insanely guilty over it!
Hopefully something will work out though...perhaps it will be worth spending some time with just him, and thinking things over properly.

Now, a couple more things:
The Miyu I was hoping to get...still no word from the owner -- I'm guessing she'd like to keep her, and with my terribly cash flow at the moment, I don't feel right contacting her about it yet, so I'll give it some more time, and hope for the best...in fact, I'll set a date: the 10th!
That is when I get enough cash to pay for her, and that is when I will contact her, and offer again. :3
Its odd, considering she wasn't a planned buy for me, but I have her worked out and everything...her name will either be Kori or Korin, based on a character I had in my early teens -- she was kind of a quirky ninja, like Chii, but in more of an adult way, and she was also Ryn's best friend.
I've never really thought of creating that character as a doll, because no-one has ever struck me as like her before, but this girl really does it -- I see Korin straight away in her pictures. :3
Anyway, here's hoping on that front!

Now, onto the Soony I mentioned, that I missed out on a little while back.
Firstly, thank you again to the lovely reader who was kind enough to ask me about this, and even offer me some information! Its so nice to hear from you all now and again, with thoughts, suggestions and so on...the support feels great, especially since I don't get any dollie support away from my laptop, really. (Save for Matt, my amazing boyfriend. <3)

But yes, I in fact did find out where and who little Soony went to, and I contacted her new owner.
The new owners are in fact a couple who collect dolls together, which I think is wonderful -- it turns out this Soony is quite a favourite of theirs too, and the young lady is a face-up artist herself, who likes to restore dolls, and has apparently restored her faceup to its former (Viridian Style) glory!
They were lovely to speak to, were very understanding and sympathetic of my situation with her, and even read my blog! They are very much in love with her, but promised to keep me in mind should anything happen, and even said they would be happy to meet in the future, when they visit the area!

Its an odd feeling; I am sad and disappointed that I no longer have a chance with Soony, and still feel a little angry about missing her, and not being informed, but at the same time...if that is how they feel about her, I don't think she could have gone to a better place, including here with me.
I hope they continue to be very happy with the gorgeous girl! ^___^

Now...on a happy note, I hope to get a couple of pictures for you tomorrow!
Myself and Matt will be taking some pictures for our new Pokemon-themed blog that we are starting up (collections, history, interests, wants, etc) and I hope to snap a few of the little resins too -- Sam in all his glory, of course, and also, Jemimah in her absolutely stunning new outfit, that I just put on her for the first time...FINALLY, SOMETHING THAT FITS!
