Pleasant Days.

Well, hello, and welcome to another update. ^__^

I just got home after a tiring couple of days visiting my sister in Durham; no idea how or why it made me so tired, since its only an hour away, if that, and we didn't really get up to much, but I've just been feeling exhausted recently, except at the hours I should be sleeping, apparently.

We mostly watched films, drank mulled wine and talked (there was a lot of catching up to do - I hardly see her!)
and she showed me how henna hair dye works - its pretty much how I do mine, but its hot, and stays on like mud, rather than looking like its absorbed at all...very odd, but I can't imagine many people wanting to use it  unless they're close to the colour naturally - its not very vibrant at all, but it does improve the texture/quality.
Interesting.

Not much more to update on in the house situation either; still planning for the Durham area - preferably quite close to the city, but its proving a difficult task working out transportation for Joe to get to his university in Sunderland every day...
Its a twenty-five minute journey by car, but according to Google Maps, about an hour by public transport...
There must be a quicker/easier way, because he can't do that, with the early times he has to go...

As for dollfie things... not much to update on either, actually!
Sam has been sueded, but I think we did a little too much this time and he is a bit stiff, but I'll work on it.

Niki's first grey wig came the other day, and it makes him look much more in character, immediately;
now he has a black wooly jumper on with safety pins and such in, 3/4 anotherspace pants, skull flats, purpley/grey/green ghosty eyes, and the wig - fantastic!
The only problem is that his finger snapped off again... its very easily repairable, but I'm going to have to get some proper resin glue for it - can't risk something as small as his pinky going missing...
Actually, his face up looks much nicer now too, with all this stuff - it has the right tones... maybe I should leave ShallowSleep alone this time, as far as he's concerned, and concentrate on Jasper?

Speaking of which, still no news on Jasper; hopefully Migi are working at it though... these things take time.

Good news though: sounds like I may get the money next week to pay off the layaway on Jina!
Can't wait for him to be on his way to me..I've fallen in love with him so much. I was thinking of asking rianne about his face though, when I let her know; just asking her advice on if I want to get him re-painted in the future, how to deal with those putti'd cracks over his lips...they make me nervous. o__o;;

A couple more things worth bringing up:

My sister's friend, who is an artist, has been asking questions about face-ups lately... she's currently unemployed, and I said I'd loan her the spare head I keep, if she wants to have a go, and earn some money out of it...perhaps if she actually goes through with it, I'll post some pictures up of how it goes.
Just nice to hear some positive light on them, from the people I know!

Lastly, I made an order at dollmore. I couldn't afford the whole one, but just wanted some things for Niki that are his own, like a pair of shoes, jumper, black pants and a wig.
Perhaps then i will post pictures of him.
