Checking The List!

Time for another casual update!

Have you ever had that feeling you have so much to update on, then when you actually start doing it, you lose everything, and wonder what the hell you were going to say that seemed so important?
I seem to be getting that a lot lately; I've started updating my various journals, and then just lost track of thought...let's see how we go this time.

I think things have been going pretty well on the spending list I mentioned a couple of entries ago:

-- The bank called me up the other day and we sorted out a new, seperate account for my savings so I won't over--spend, and hopefully within two months, I'll have the total I'm after, if I don't over-spend on the casuals.
£100 PM should do well, don't you think?
-- MR Itachi's and Pogo's birthday presents are sorted; now there's only Bayla's in June, and my Parents' anniversary in May to worry about ... eheh.
-- I can't get a new phone until the 8th of May, but when that comes, it will be free, so that's kind of good news. Just have to worry about this very run down one until then.

-- Jina has been paid for and is now on the way, and I managed a small order to Dollmore -- just a couple of clothing items and wigs for Niki, and some eyes for Pong and Sam. They look pretty great so far, but the hunt still goes on for a decent Lilac wig for Pong...

So yes, I think that's a pretty decent amount for now! Obviously I'm going to be broke for the next... forever, but these things must be done... I think the next dollie things to concentrate on will be:

Clothes for Jasper:
He's not here yet, but I don't really have the style of clothes for him that I want; argyle, vests/waistcodes, chord.... you know, that kind of stuff. Maybe some glasses, too.
His wig and eyes are here though, and he'll still have to be off for his faceup, so there's time.

Lots of stuff for Pillan:
He needs some new clothes that suit him more, but I haven't had much luck with that yet.
He also needs bleaching and a new faceup... he's yellowed a fair amount, I think, and its starting to bug me, since he mostly wears white shirts... unfortunately, though, I don't know what to give him for a face-up...
Something a little gothic/moody but still natural - I don't want him "doll'd up", so to speak.. XP
Also, he is supposed to have little designs on his cheeks in blue... you know, something small and twisty or tribal... I just can't figure out something I like enough yet.. can't just go splashing anything on there.
I'll have to look it up. He hasn't been spoiled half as much as he should have been.

After that though, it just gets pretty damn expensive and long-term, such as I *really* want a new body for Immy... I don't want her to have a man-body.. she needs boobs, damn it!

... I honestly never thought it would bother me so much, but she just won't fill out the clothes I want for her enough... XD
She seems happy though; (or as happy as she can get, bless her) Sed sits next to her a lot, and they seem to get on well...they probably discuss how much they love grey, and pouting... XD

Oh well; I dressed some of them up the other day, out of their winter-wear, and into some more spring-like attire... I'm especially proud of Chii and Calder, actually. I'll post some images next week.

I haven't bought any statues in so long -- in fact, I sold most of the ones I had back in 2008, when I decided to become "serious" about dollfies, but Miku really pulls me back into the idea... she's such an appealing character, somehow.
I really like the look of the Black Rock Shooter characters too... I don't plan to start again with collecting them, but a Miku figure would be nice...I really love those little Chibi ones you can get of her too, with the interchangable heads? I'd love to have one, one day. ^___^

Okay, nothing else to report really - hope I've done well, this time!
Its my friend's birthday event today, so we're all going out for the night. I haven't been in a while, so I'm feeling excited, but also oddly nervous.
Hopefully it will go well, and a certain person will stay away from me... ><
