A Fair Weekend.

Whew!
The weekend is almost over now, and its been perhaps the best in quite a while; spent lots of time with my boyfriend, Joe, and we hardly argued at all, haha!
We also stayed over at his Granparents, which was nice - haven't seen them since before Christmas, because of so much crap going on. But yes, it was nice to be around friendly people again... : )

Anyway, as for dollfie things...

I re-invented Jim a bit- she'd been wearing pretty much the same stuff for a while now, and had her crazy, odd purple eyes in too long, so now she's got blue in, has a dress, kitty shoes, and a much prettier wine wig in from Leeke - can't believe they've discontinued those wigs -- it was Jim's colour! :(
But yes, she looks great; especially now she's been sueded a bit and can stand!
I'll try and get some pictures of her during the week.

Also replaced Alex's CRWL 20 wig for a LUTS one -- much darker blonde, and although its a bit big for him, the change is welcome. I just don't like wigs in which you can see their ears, and sides of their heads....
It looks too small!

In fact, I think they could all do with a bit of reinvention, for 2011. The change might be nice for them. : )

Sam still isn't here though, which is terrifying me; I emailed the post office again on Thursday morning, but no reply...and now, right when I have no money, someone has PM'd me about a Fullset Gentle Rabbit PongPong! I am literally just under her offer, but I can't afford to spend anymore right now...
Very disappointed about that - I'd like to hope she will still be there in a month, when I get some more money in, or if I can sell some of my ebay stuff (WizardInABlizzard*) but I very much doubt it...she's a lovely doll to snap up...
I wonder how difficult just the outfit is to get hold of?
Obviously the "basic" doll is still on the site, but I love the whole character - the hat and wig especially.
Also, I have to worry about the supplies for Tiny dolls... I haven't seen one in real life, but I do know the kind of stuff I like on them is few and far between... especially wigs --Etsy seems to be the answer for that, rather than companies.
Lets hope for the best anyway. Can't believe I had to turn it down...><

Guess its a good thing, though, staying on the straight and narrow!
I've been working out totals for what I do actually "need"... its quite hefty, but obviously its going to be done over ( a hell of a lot of) time...

- Dollmore - clothes, wigs, eyes, carry bags... total: $226 (including postage)

- Luts - Wigs for Ryn and Jim, Clothes for Niki, and some Kips... $285 (including postage)
Especially want these little buggers. (three seperate links there)

Nine9Style is the biggest lot though...seem to recall racking up $400 or something, including postage. This is going to take a long time, and/or a lot of selling my own stuff.

It seems to be a good idea ordering doll stuff in small doses anyway... avoids bloody customs, for a start!
Starting to hate customs more than I actually thought possible, these days.
First the Shiwoo, then the clothes... in fact, I could have had PongPong if it wasn't for them!
...not..very...nice...thoughts...

That's all the rambling I have for today, anyway.
Some shockingly cheap eyes and wigs are on the way to me from DOA, which is wonderful, and.... that's just about it. : )

Laters!
