The body I bought on layaway for Yuri has finally arrived, but its not good news....
I think I should post about this situation:
As (I think) previously mentioned, Yuri is currently borrowing Pillan's body, so I saved a little extra and found him a Crobidoll M Line body from DOA's Altaryl.
This was done by layaway, which I think went pretty straight forward, and didn't take very long...
Now, from around the time I finished the layaway, horrible things happened in this girl's personal life, which of course, I won't disclose on. Let's just say it was very unpleasant, and anyone would be very sympathetic for her situation. It also rendered her unable to reach a post office.
These problems started to mount for her, which was very sad, so I of course, allowed her to take her time. After a couple of weeks though, she managed to send him out, complete with tracking number!
...only to have it return to her within a few days, and not in the best shape, she said.
This of course was awful, and because of her personal issues at the moment, she was unable to send me a refund! ...of course, as unavoidable as it was, this did make me upset -- was I to just accept it, let her keep the cash, and the doll? ....don't think so.
I contacted paypal, and opened a paging thread on DOA, after some advice, and we came to an agreement to pay half the postage each to have him resent.
Thank God!
But now, he has arrived, and....
There was plenty of bubble wrap and padding in the box, but hardly any of it attached to him...
I found all the finger pieces (as pictured) and hopefully I can reattach them...however, there's no piece for the ankle in the box...I've had my family double and triple check!
Still not out of the woods...and I don't really know what to do... :(
