Changing My Luck

Whew! I hope that goes down well...sometimes I really can't believe how oddly touchy people are about these things -- really, if someone is pestering an owner about anything that isn't for sale, fair enough, but asking to be kept in mind? I don't get it -- I'd be happy to hear something like that about my guys, and also glad that someone who appreciates them and wouldn't take them apart and ruin their uniqueness would really put my mind at ease. I'll never get over how some of my sold on dolls have been treated...one buyer even blamed *me* after she broke him horribly!

Anyway, let us move on from that.

The lovely girl I mentioned before who was intending to sell me her Delf Miyu is having second thoughts -- the doll clearly means a lot to her, so we're taking a month long break so she can think it over...I can understand, but I really hope she still agrees...I won't pretend I haven't been really excited about the sale. Especially when everything else has been going so wrong.

Someone on Ebay offered me £10 the other day, for my Woori girl!
I don't think the person really understood what she was, but still...ouch! I really hope Yder and her will sell soon...there's no chance of me getting a minifee anytime soon without that happening!
Though I have managed to find a beautiful default face Chloe head on the Marketplace, so now all I have to worry about is Shushu and the hands...it takes my total down a lot, from £800 to £525, which is fantastic! ...but a still a little much for me to think about right now. I have to keep some cash aside from Miyu, and also, I just heard some great news this morning...

Matt have gotten the job in Scotland!
He's due for an interview and the end of May, and if all goes well (which I'm assuming it will, because he is perfect for this job) we could be living in Scotland this summer!
I'm hoping, no, praying that everything works out, since its a big dream of mine to live in Scotland, even if we won't be in exactly the perfect place straight away, I can't believe it!

But great as it is, it does put dollie buys on the backburner for a while...maybe a long time, who knows? For now, I will concentrate on sales instead, and try not to get too hooked on the minifee idea again....and Yeon-Ho. ><

Speaking of sales, the models for SD clothes and wigs are Lily and Noel this time!
Lily did most of her part yesterday, but hopefully when I get home tonight, I'll start concentrating on the boy stuffs, with Noel! He's doing really well, and I still find myself staring at him all the time...he's just so beautiful! *__*

Most of the stuff he's wearing come from the other guys -- whenever I get a new guy/girl, I try to put around "donations" -- stuff the other guys don't need much, and would suit the new guy.

In this case, Alex's lighter wig, Calder's headphones, Jasper's T shirt...the jacket, trousers and shoes (though you can't see them -- they are brown canvas shoes, a lot like converse really) were bought for him though, and he has some jeans on the way. : )

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say for now...got some special stuff incoming, so perhaps I'll post some pictures of all that soon!

(Including Petdoll Cathy - I'm just waiting for her eyes to come in...I don't have the right size in the colour I wanted for her...;__;)
