Online, I was amazed by them, and how customisable they were.
In person, I was mostly just overwhelmed by how large they were!

Oh, no; they're more of a personal thing for me.
10. Which do you prefer? Commercial SDs (such as Kyon customed dolls) or customizing your own SD?
I mostly go for dolls that already look like the characters I have in mind, but I do tweak them a little myself, or send them away for more appropriate face-ups, etc.
11. How do you feel about Commercial SDs?
I don't see a problem.
12. Did you create a personality/background for your doll(s)?
More the other way around; they're based on characters I already dreamed up.
13. What type of relationship do you have with your doll (ex. Beloved daughter, friend)?
Uh, they have their places, but they are very close to me. : )
14. Do your SDs have a nickname?
I mostly refer to them as "my resin brats//children", as a group :D
15. What special meaning does your dolls' names have?
I do tend to look up what their character names mean, so its faithul to their nature...

They have their own shelves, and places around my room. Of course, they sometimes come sit with me on my bed as well. : )

I have trouble finding ones the right size!

Pets, plushies, mini-consoles, yes. Some more than others...
19. What hard to find items do you wish you could get for your doll?
Argh, the list never ends!
20. What is the most expensive thing you've bought for your doll?
Probably the fer sets, or the DOT Shall outfit...
21. When you go out, do you take your doll with you?
I take some with me when I go on holiday, but usually its only Jim that goes outside with me.

Vacations, days out, friends' houses, car trips, etc. : )
23. Is there a regular place you take your doll out to?
Not a specific place, no.
24. If you do take your doll out of the house, how do you carry her? (ex. SD violin case, backpack,etc)
For the larger dolls, I have a Volks Carrier, but Jim just sits in a blanket (or sometimes a hat!) in my regular bag.
25. When you do take your doll out, is it easy to do or do you find it's more trouble than it's worth?
Oh, I love having them with me! I just get nervous of the damage, and what other people might do.
26. Does your doll have a friend? Do you think your doll wants a friend?
No, they have each other! :P

Oh, I'm not too fussed about that...I'd love to have Jemimah's Volks Body edited though...

Aargh, too many! I buy lots of wigs...
But I do have a weakness for unnatural colours.

They just fitted the characters, and jumped out at me! : )

Not too often, when I feel I've found the perfect wig. I don't like to cut them much myself, either.

I've never thought to count, but *lots*!
35. How many shoes do you have for your doll? Does your doll have socks too?
I've never counted those either, but a very little box...and some of them have socks, for if I worry about staining.

It varies a lot, as my characters are very different! There's punky, goth, alternative, more mature, scene, trendy fashion, J-fashion, sweet, steampunk, biker, and I never know about Sam...he likes warm things. xD

Crobidoll, Nine9style, and Dollmore, mostly; also lots of spying around the DOA marketplace. : )

No, I have no sewing skills beyond repairing stuff! :(

Oh, no; though one has a fashion sense that follows Japan...

Random jewelry - mostly bracelets!

I don't think anyone would buy my stuff. xD

No, no; I can sew a little, but only enough to repair things.

I actually prefer films to music, most of the time.

No, but I wish someone would!

Just around my room...

A few months, but I certainly didn't know much!

Sometimes.

Not so much, but it usually ends up being my bed, when we watch films. :3

All colours under the sun! Blue seems to have somehow gotten popular though, and I'm forever looking for pretty green eyes...
As for sizes, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 18mm.

Apparently blue, judging by numbers, but I always thought I preferred green! How odd.
I just like eyes that look right to me though - they have to stand out in a certain way.

Hardly at all, when I find the right pair for the character.

Not thought to count either, but actually quite a few!
Its hard to tell how the colour will really be, until you own it!

Not in a literal sense, no. Its as alive as your character is, nothing more than that.

I greet them when I come home, say goodnight to them, and ask how they feel about any new things they get. xD

Mixed reactions. My favourites (boyfriend, bestie) like them, but not very enthusiasticlly. :P

I didn't like dolls as a kid, I played with animal toys, like beanie babies!

Yeah, I gave up on my anime/manga/statue collections for them.

It varies quite a lot; I was way over-spending for a time, but think I'm on top of it now. Mostly.

Though I did learn a lesson not to buy a doll secondhand because you loved that person's character, rather than the doll...that does not work out well.

Hmm, they're usually a bit expensive for bits I don't need, so I prefer seperates.
65. How often do you change your dolls clothing?
Hmm, a couple of times a season. I can't stand to have them looking too hot/cold for the weather!
66. If you could take your doll anywhere with you in the world, where would that be?
Somewhere with great, relaxed scenery, like a waterfall or the Scottish highlands... or maybe somewhere like Disneyland! :D

The first dollies I got didn't have clothes or wigs, so they suffered a bit, and I've dropped a couple...Nikolai lost a finger. D:

A blanket, magic eraser, and a box of pastels!

Some do, some don't - one couple is married, with a child. :3

In a way; I do tend to spoil Su the most, and take Jim everywhere with me...but I love them all, for their own unique ways! :3

No, no; though it is nice to have them all just sitting about together.

I'll always regret not being able to get my dream doll, morbidollz' custom Shiwoo, Dani, but I don't think I could have anyway.

No, my only good doll friend is all the way in Malasia. :(

No, I've not been to a meet-up since I got my own dollies.

Haha, I did at first, but not anymore. Though I only tell people who's business is it to know anyway!

No, I don't think so. I do get a little obsessive about finding certain items for them, though.

I actually try to keep things in organised places, so I can get them out easily, be it dolls or otherwise. xD
98. Did you buy a digital camera only because you wanted to take pictures of your SD to show off online?
No, no; I've had and used cameras for a long time before.
99. If you passed on, who gets your SD? wife/husband/kids/best friend/no one...it goes with me! Explain why!
This idea terrifies me...perhaps I'd split them amongst people close to me?

I can't see that happening; there'll probably be a time I wont' want to buy anymore, but hope to keep my little resin brats with me forever! :)
