Doll Traffic

Hello again!

Just a couple of things to update on:

Firstly, I'm working on my sales threads again, yaaay!
I've cleared all my DOA threads up and now I'll be starting again, hopefully with better pictures, and more appealing things in general.
Unfortunately, while I was in the middle of creating the clothing threads, Photobucket has stopped responding, so I have to wait to upload the images...brilliant.

Here's the wigs thread so far, anyway:

There's going to be a lot more, from SD, MSD  to YOSD//Unoa, and I have a super tiny one as well, that needs to go up..no idea what its for, but it doesn't even fit my Pukifee. : /
Its pretty anyway, and turquoise! :3

I'll keep you posted on that, anyway.

On another note, there's been a bit of a dolly haul here as well, thanks to the wonder that is DOA Marketplace!
I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous Leekeworld Noella, and a Red Fer Set...thanks so much to Mawi and ShuriTigerH! <3
Also a couple of nice Volks carriers are here, including a really sweet little black pot of a cat's face!
Apparently it carries YOSDs, but I have a few ideas for it, actually...>:3

Still, I've spoken to a few lovely dollie owners while on the Marketplace Prowl, so to speak;
I haven't had much luck making friends in the doll community, but it seems I may make a couple, at this rate...yay!
Its nice to have a positive conversation about them once in a while, since I hardly know anyone else who actually sees them that way...people tend to see the money first, don't they? Then anything you say about them afterwards is bouncing off a brick wall.

Anyway, a few word about Noella:

She really is a gorgeous doll - her face is so sweet-looking, and the colours of her faceup give her such an appealing, mature look, I find it hard not to just stare at her at the moment, haha.
Her body,  however, I'm not very impressed with.
Even quite tightly strung, her legs can be a real nightmare, since the knee-jointing is odd, and sends her legs out in all kinds of crazy directions at the drop of a hat.
Its been tricky getting her to stand, as her knees will suddenly go outwards and twist oddly...it reminds me a lot of the issues I have with Kaden and Ryn (My DOTs from 2008)
I'm thinking that sueding her might be the answer, but I'm going to take a little more time to get used to her...maybe there's something I'm missing a bit.
Absolutely no regrets though - Noella has been a massive want for a long time now -- in fact, I'd like to get the sleeping head for her as well, at some point, but no rush.

Now I will sell, save and cool down my spending, so I can save for the important things, and hopefully one of these days, Infinitidoll Daffodil. I'm absolutely sure that I want her now...I've tried putting myself off a bit, but she's just too  perfect. Daffodil and Superior Witch Kyul will be my last dollies. <3

Last but not least...there's dollie birthdays coming up!

My sweet little Angels, Odette and Emelyn's first birthday with me will be on the 22nd, and then Amaya's third birthday will be on the 24th!
Amaya's gift is the Red Fer Set, but I'm having trouble with the little angels...

I wanted to get these for Emelyn:

And I'm not so sure for Odette...perhaps a nice, Angelic dress, since she doesn't have much of that stuff right now... I do have some small angel wings I could give her as well...

However, Leekeworld are being evil, and have "Sold Out" of all these things, so I'm depending on the kind hearts of sellers on DOA to help me out...;__;

Its also Calder's birthday on the 18th of October, and I planned to finally get her these:

But once again, Leekeworld have hearts of stone.


Perhaps I'll just have to think on, but any suggestions welcome! :3

I'll leave it there anyway -- I'm not well today, so I've just been chilling out with Noella and Lily, really.
Perhaps we'll model some more wig pictures soon, for the sales thread. : )
