Heather's extra faceplate arrived this morning, all painted and stupidly cute!
So, what does everyone think? Personally, I think the paint job is excellent, (as it should be for how much FL charge, including postage!) but the colour over her eyes look a lot heavier than it on the company site... maybe that's better, since she's a girl...pretty sure PongPong is supposed to be a boy. : /
Also got a few shots of Jim, but I'm afraid I haven't had the chance to take any of Kaden, Pillan or Ryn yet... I'll get 'round to it, and the boys have had a wig//clothing change, so they're pretty much ready...
If only Kaden wasn't such a pain - he always looks so unnatural and stuff, and its a real task trying to make him look life-like, for some reason... Anyway, here's Jim:

Aww, I love Jim so much - believe it or not, she's my favourite dollfie - I haven't been able to spend anywhere near enough time with her lately. <3
Anyway, afraid that's all I've got for now, but hopefully the weather will stay bright over the next week or so, and I'll get a bit more done.
I really need to work on Pillan, after October - he hasn't had anywhere near the amount of character development he should have - he hardly looks like Pillan, at all.
I really want to get him a new face, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it; he's got much more of a fantasy look about him than my other characters - he's going to have a blue/black colour scheme, but he needs some kind of facial tattoo//symbol that matches his character, and the background...just no idea what.
Something to do with air, water, or earth, or...something. Still working on it, but it can't be too crazy or large...he also looks far too smilie at the moment - he's supposed to be quite a grumpy character...
But the Breakaway doll has a nice smirk about him...I wouldn't want to move that; there's going to have to be a compromise! Anyway, all/any suggestions for him are welcome - just message me or something. : )
Also, I haven't gotten my Lusis//Sist yet - I decided to wait it out because of the price tag, and more important things, but thought I'd share a quick dollfie wantlist, for if I ever happen to wind up rich// become pro in the art of blackmail:

Obviously I'm being overly ambitious, but these are the molds that appeal to me...I'd love to see what it'd be like having one the size of Ante, and I've always been obsessed with Chiwoo...I already have two of the bigger sized...(Calder and Naiiri) but Sist and Dillui/Nion have always been high on the list. Meh! Concentrate on what you have, naughty Ash... ><;;

Oh my, the face up is so gorgeous, it suits her very well. I think Jim is so damn cute, maybe with another eyes she'll look more lively (what a contrast with her hair and yours, if you change her hair -like you little child XD-).
ReplyDeletePillian is surely a great challenge, if you make a visit to deviantart? There a lot of images and you can use them as reference...if Pillian is a bit bipolar, sometimes he show his smile, but inside him he's really serious. (also, what mold will he be?)

Your wishlist is big and has pretty dolls ;) Hope you can get them in a some way... (my wishlist is dead now u.u because my family has some economic problems and I need to support them with all I have. I don't want to sell any of my boys...oh god, I don't know what to do T___T).

I'd love to her her some nicer eyes, but I haven't found many I like so far... hopefully Ginarolo's eyes will do the trick when they come in November!
I'm planning to turn her into my little SteamPunk child, when I find the right stuff...the goggles are a nightmare to find. XD
Pillan is going to be a real pain; I've had some suggestions, and a visit to deviantart sounds like a good idea too!
