Dollfie Hauls!

Some good and bad news, really:

I missed the Unoa I was hoping to get; she was pretty cheap for what she was, its a damn shame, but surely there'll be another time.
I'm still keeping an eye on Morbidollz' one, just in case; I know that may sound pretty bad of me, but she seems to have less of a personal hold on the dolls themselves, and more the characters they' represent, so you never know when she's just going to pass one up for another, better mold.
Its weird; I understand that idea, of course, but I couldn't do that...my dolls are pretty precious to me, and it would take a lot for me to let one go like that... I've sold two or three, I think, and it was because we didn't "bond", as they say -- sometimes they just don't grip//inspire you as a character, no matter how pretty they are, and when that happens, its not right to have it sit there when you could give it a more appreciative owner, and yourself the money for something you really want. : /

Anyway, the other thing is I didn't get the slots from Shallowsleep that I was after, either.
I stayed up, posted at 6:01pm, and still missed it - she must have been over-run!
She's given me the option to reserve a slot in October for Niki and Zach, but I don't know...
I'd love to get them both done by her -- she has the style I want, and she's a lot more flexible and accepting of my methods than some faceup artists I've spoken to previously
(many seem to believe the use of reference pictures from others' dolls is character stealing, and get defensive.)
but it is a long time, and I was thinking today I might need someone with an airbrush kit for Zach anyway, because he has a face fault that needs to be blushed over...
I've sent her a message about it anyway, so we'll see what she says.... I get the feeling I must be annoying the crap out of her by now though, haha!

And now onto the good news...

My stuff from Crobidoll came!
The headphones are MSD size, which sucks, since they're for Jasper, but the earphones will work for now... I'll just have to keep my eyes open for when these are in stock:

Sed//Naiiri trying the earphones; they hook around his ears, which is pretty cool, but its hard to get them to stay on most of my brats... hopefully they'll work with Jasper.

I was very nervous about it all, after my last faceup experience turned out as a bit of a nightmare, but I couldn't be happier with him - he's perfect, and exactly as I wanted!
It was done so quickly, too, I'm very impressed with her... I'll have to send more to her in the future!
I'd send Zach to her, but I don't think she has the means for whole face blushing, and I worry he'd turn out a lot like Jasper here...he needs someone with a more gothic style.

Anyway, that's it for now... I'm trying to save money a little, but Etsy is out for my life... I still really want a certain amazing hat, but its so damned expensive -- its not worth this amount, surely?:
