Jasper's Face!

Just a quick post, really!

Shallowsleep got back to me, and thankfully she was very understanding about the whole situation; she agreed to paint Ryu and Zach, but said she can't get me a slot until Aug/Sep time...that would be fine, if Ryu's blank head wasn't freaking me out to hell!
I don't understand it - blank dollfie heads have never freaked me out before, but he genuinely looks like he may kill me, so I said I have three heads that need painting (Ryu, Zach and Niki) so even if I find a replacement for Ryu's creepy face in the meantime, I'll still have two for her either way, and I am going to give her some extra cash for the mess around...can't tell you how guilty I feel about that...

So, I spent a couple of days looking around the doll community, and spotted an artist I think would be perfect for Ryu, and not even as expensive as most!
Considering I'd like him to look something like this:

She's pretty damn far away, but judging by her works and feedback, it will be more than worth it.
She was very nice too, when I spoke to her... very helpful, and seemed to actually understand what I was blagging on about, in my requests - always helpful. : )

So Jasper's head is in a box right now, ready to fly off to Indonesia in the morning!
I feel sad that he's leaving so soon, right after he got here, but while he's gone, I'll have some time to find him some glasses and shoes or something... I swear, he's going to look like a seriously retarded DR Who before long...

Anyway, any thoughts/opinions are welcome at this point, especially if you've dealt with Ticuk before - send me a message or something. I'll definitely be singing her praises if she pulls this off...

Last but not least, I decided not to post any pictures of Jasper until he's finished, with his lovely face... it will be a much nicer surprise, won't it?
Can't wait to see what my three boys are going to look like by September - its so exciting! ^___^
