Sales Updates (help me get a grail?)

 Hey again guys,

An absolutely lovely person has contacted me recently offering me an absolute grail, so I'll be listing more things and considering offers. Please get in touch if any of these interest you, or any of the items on the FS page.

SOLD: 

CP Luts Delf Chiwoo Head.
Blank.
Normal Skin.

This guy is OLD. Judging by his head mechanism and weight, he's old-school even for a Delf. It seems he has been used to practice faceup on, as there's some light staining around the eyes, inside the lips and ears, but I think they could be removable if you have the kit. I just don't have it all.

Aside from that I think he looks in great shape, though I imagine there has been yellowing after so long. But he has just been in storage since I got him.

I'm unsure of the price of these guys now, so considering offers.

She has been with me brand new since her first limited release and is in beautiful condition. The only thing I find odd about her is her head mechanism. It doesn't seem to stay closed like it should, and I can't see where the magnets should connect to... but I don't have much experience with this brand, honestly.

She is a huge feeler, but I am willing to listen to offers.

FS: Camellia Dynasty Bean

 Feeling this one out, as I don't really know what he's worth these days.

He's been with me a good few years and has been well kept, barely used etc.
For some strange reason though, his egg container, which has been kept hidden away safely in a drawer, has yellowed terribly. At least, one half has.
I have no idea how or why...

Aside from that, he's in great condition - lovely little face/blushing, posable ears, paws, etc, and shiny little dark eyes.

Considering offers or trades at the moment 'cause I'm not sure what to list him for, and filling in the DOA form for it all is honestly a huge pain, if you don't know exacts.

Got some heads, faceplates, and clothes so far.
I'm thinking of included my Camellia Dynasty Bean (little rabbit) as well, but I'm not sure at all on a pricepoint...he's in great condition, but his container -- an egg -- for some reason isn't so good.
It has been kept in a drawer, totally out of light etc, yet one half of the egg is very yellowed, and ther other is still pretty damn white. Its weird...

                                                       

Anyway, I'll get some pictures of him up, start doing some digging around, and see if there's a price I am willing to let go of him for.

... that said, all this digging around is really making me miss the hobby again.
It isn't financially viable these days, but while trying to find info for all these sales, I'm coming across things and dolls I love, and a curiosity of how things have changed, such as quality etc.
I saw a post on IG the other day about some body changes from a company through the years and it was so interesting. My golden oldies would likely be considered rubbish posers now, no doubt.
But also going through my collection, it made me kinda sad.
I couldn't finish some characters I wanted, and I was just getting into minifees when I left, so I hardly have anything that fits them, let alone things that fit particular characters.
I'd love to be able to change that.

According to my FB memories, Sol (my Crobidoll Tei) has been with me 8 years now.

He has a little chip in his faceup now, but I still love the shit out of him (and honestly, it kind of works for his character!)

... still, my dollfie plans haven't really gone as I'd hoped. More and more life/adulting issues, and now it seems I'll have to part with some...

So far, I'm listing some heads, wigs and clothing, bit by bit, because they're heckin' feelers for sure, but the cash is needed for something very important, and asap, so if you see anything you're genuinely interested in, feel free to get in touch.

I'm trying DOA again at the moment, but I don't like how complicated it is, or how solid the price has to be... I've been away so long, I don't bloody know, and I don't wanna under or oversell, y'know? D:

If need be, I'll head over to Ebay or Instagram and try the lucks there.

At least there's an offer situation in those places.

Hello Again!

Hey guys!

Man, it has been a while... I seriously doubt anyone will be checking this nowadays, but I didn't start it with that in mind, so... eeh.. here we go again!

My lovely doll brats have definitely taken a backseat during all this time because there's been a whole lot of life stuff going on, but they're still with me, and have their own room for that matter!
These days, money is a lot more of an issue, so it doesn't look like there will be any new dolls in the near future, but I still love my guys and girls, and we've been spending some time together lately...

Its been nice checking back through the things and places I used to go - there's certainly been a lot of changes, things coming and going, including whole companies, but it makes me all the more glad for the old Delfs and DODs with me!


... but yes, I'm hoping to get at least a little bit involved again, and maybe try to flesh out the guys and girls I have a little more.
I've been focussing on Wyn, (or Minifee Rin) as I never found the things I really wanted for her look...her wig has been the trickiest issue, since I want it to be white and kind of wavey, but... in a fitting way. It seems Dollheart had pretty much the perfect thing for her, but doesn't look like that's going to happen for us.

Anyway, for now, here's some little shots I took while going through some things.
Not great, as usual, but it made me happy to be spending time with them again.

The Future

...I was wondering, should I start turning this into more of a personal blog, about things going on in my life, and stuff I'm into, or keep in strictly BJD still?

Obviously, we all know my BJD collecting days are kinda over, but I really miss this blog.
I wish I had more for it, but there's just not a lot going on these days with them....
Alex, Sam and Mikey still hang out in my room, Jim too, in her little zip bed - they're by no means forgotten or anything, but other life situations are pretty pressing right now, so taking pictures and blogging their current status... it isn't so prominent in the seeable future.

I dunno.... opinions appreciated?

Crobi Sales?

Hiya guys!

Wish I had better news, and maybe some epic pictures of my dolls standing in their case, but unfortunately not!

They are huge feelers right now, but I am thinking of selling on some of my Crobi Heads.
I hate doing this because...well, you know how much I love Crobis, but these heads are all extras that have been in storage, waiting for the time I can  acquire Crobi bodies for them... a thing that doesn't look likely in the seeable future.

So we'll see what they could go for.
We haven't had the help I hoped for with the Angelo Fund, so we're both trying to sell off more things... not a good year for us! :(

Fancy Displays!

Matt's Dad found some glass cabinets locally and decided to bring them for us!

Hopefully at least some of my dolls will be standing in them soon....just have to make some stands! :D

(also, they will not be staying in that same place...)
